Killing Jesus/ Matar a Jesús
22-year old Paula is the lone witness to the assassination of her father on the streets of Medellín. The police walk away from the case and advise her to do the same, lest she falls victim too.
Coming to terms with her grief, she spots the murderer at a party, and befriends him in a plot to exact vengeance.
But, she grapples with her resolve as Jesús is slowly revealed to be as much of a victim of a violent society as she is in Laura Mora's intense and semi-autobiographical debut.
